This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The bottom has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
For about a month now I am without computer now. Although my iMac still kinda works apart from the main fan being on full blast at all times, I can hardly be asked to power it on and work out/upload any of my Photographs. I like a computer that is silent. I don't mind the occasional fan noise at high peeks.. possibly when exporting data from Final Cut or so.. all the other times I shouldn't be able to hear anything.
Since the beginning, my iMac has been a bitter disappointment. I purchased it in summer'09 and since then it had needed a new Display and a new HDD. Now some sort of Sensor is causing trouble. According to Apple it's not a spare part, it's part of the Main Logic Board and therefore costs about £600. Bummer, right. I sourced a used Heat-sink from another iMac but so far I couldn't be asked to take it apart and try to fix it. Who knows what's next?
I do, I will fix it up and sell it. (if it works) I already ordered a suitable Replacement. Not another iMac though. This time I go for a Mac mini. A 2012 Mac mini Core i7, 16GB, 256GB SSD with 2x 27" displays (none Apple). Being unable to work on 1080p content in FCPx just adds up to the iMac's disappointment.
I hope to receive my new gear within the next couple of weeks... then I will be up and running again. Hopefully silent.
